Long description
Through a partnership between two institutions with complementary expertise, IDSS, which works with the discipline of Design to solve social problems, and Paciência Viva, which, through Educomunicações promotes selective collection and recycling actions, a program for the implementation of production and training centers for solid waste collectors, with the objective of transforming and adding value to the solid waste generated and delivered to the PEVs (Voluntary Delivery Points), qualifying the process of processing the collected waste and developing new products. In this program, new technical-productive capacities will be added to waste pickers in order to strengthen a process of social innovation to the problem of reusing solid waste generated by cities.
